Brittany Buna – Articled Student
Brittany was born and raised in Victoria, BC. She spent her childhood striking a balance between scholastic pursuits and competitive swimming. Her success in swimming lead to a full scholarship at Fresno State University where she studied Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources. During her final year at Fresno State she was a co-captain of the swim team (an honour for a Canadian). Brittany graduated in the top 10% of her class.
Brittany obtained her law degree at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. In order to diversify her legal education she took courses at the University of Victoria law school and at EBS Universitat fur Wirtschaft und Recht (EBS Law and Business School) in Germany.
After years of being away from her hometown of Victoria, Brittany is excited to be back serving the community. She likes the challenge of being exposed to the wide range of legal issues a dynamic law firm provides. Brittany appreciates the importance of getting to know clients well, and has a strong desire to make the client experience comforting and informative.
Away from the office Brittany is involved in a wide range of activities. She enjoys being active and participates in outdoor activities such as hiking and running. Within the community Brittany volunteers at Our Place Society, as well as being a fitness volunteer at the Victoria Downtown YWCA-YMCA. At home, she loves being creative in the kitchen – and in another life she would own and run a muffin shop!
