Carey Stead – Legal Assistant
Carey Stead graduated on the Dean’s List from the Legal Assistant program at Camosun College in 2016. During school, Carey worked part time for Mr. Lambert, and became a full time member of Lambert Law after graduation. Carey is continuing to build her skills, and is currently taking the Paralegal program at Capilano University, studying part-time, while continuing to assist Lambert Law clients on a full-time basis.
When Carey was a child, she was in a collision with her mother. A truck ran a red light and t-boned her mother’s car. Carey has vivid memories of the collision and the impact this had on her family. She believes that this experience is part of the reason why she chose to become a legal assistant, and the main reason she has chosen to focus on Personal Injury Law.
Carey has played ice hockey since she was 8-years-old. Hockey is something she is very passionate about. In her spare evenings, you can find Carey playing centre for her hockey team, winning faceoffs and encouraging her teammates to do their best.
